2/23 Use Your Stash: Layout Cutting Guides for Ustream Class

Here are the cutting guides for tomorrows Ustream Class.  As you have seen by now I am able to broadcast now to my blog via Ustream and I am working too on a facebook stream on a fan page for my blog.  Lots of fun things coming your way.   I will be using the Timblerline Workshop on the Go Collection from CTMH and the matching Compliments.  These layouts are from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 How To Program.  Its a great deal for only $7.95 US.

1 sheet - 12X12 patterned paper #1
2 sheets of 12X12 two-sided patterned paper #2

02/19/14 Use Your Stash: Layout Sneak Peek-The Process

I have been working hard on getting the cutting guides done for the upcoming Ustream Class on 2/24/14 where we will be doing scout layouts using the Timberline Paper Collection from CTMH and the Make It From Your Heart, Volume 2 How To Guide.  I have worked with the Bo Bunny Primrose Collection to get the layouts just right for the cutting guides and determine the locations of the embellishments.  We are going to stamp too!  I am super excited.  Its a super fun project that I am looking forward to.  Perfect for outdoors, hiking, and camping photos.  Enjoy the sneak peeks the next few days and I will show the completed layouts on my Ustream show on Monday.  Have a great rest of the week!

2/17 Ustream Use Your Stash Altered Canvas

Here is the finished project from tonights Ustream class.  The ink from Lindy's Stamp Gang washed off pretty easily with a kitchen scrubber sponge and some Dawn Dishsoap.  The project is still pretty wet but I hope that it will dry and harden in the next few days.  Thanks for joining me tonight.

2/16/14 MFYH Volume 1 Cards from Upcoming Cutting Guide!

I have completed a second set of cards from the cutting guides for the CTMH Make It From Your Heart Volume 1 How to Program. I am happy with how they turned out. I used a CTMH Special called Cloud Nine Card Making Kit available a few months ago (retired).  Love how the cards turned out.  

This will be a class on ustream on March 3rd, 2014 since the papers for the project that date was ruined in the mess of South Carolina Ice Storm.  We will move things around a bit in March!  Enjoy!

2/14 Request Complete! More Cards Sue, Just for YOU!

So I finished my cutting guides for the CTMH Make It From Your Heart Volume 1- How to Program.  I love how the cards turned out and they are coffee theme and also with a little different lid on the Famous T Box.  We will be doing this class in March so plenty of time for you all to get your How To Programs!
I will be using the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 for the layouts on 2/24/14 Ustream Class.  You guessed it-I will be doing a cutting guide for you as well to get the most out of your paper.  So excited.

As the sketches in the Make It From Your Heart How-To Books are copyrighted I am uncomfortable posting each card separately and the Part 2 of Mondays 2/10/14 Ustream Show is being offered only to those who have purchased the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 from me in the past or currently.  If I were to do an in-home gathering I would be able to show and do the cards and each would have walked away with finished projects.  So that is my plan.  if you click the link above you can purchase the How-To Book on my website and I will share the link and the password for the private Video.  This will again be how I will be offering both the layout class on 2/24/14 and in March 2014 Cards Class.

I think this project turned out so cute!  I so love the coffee theme cards!  I will show in person on my Ustream Show on 2/17/14.  We will be doing something similar in March 2014.

February 2014 Theme: Use Your Stashe

February is almost here!  I have been thinking a great deal of what I wanted to do while waiting for the new and exciting products get to the market after CHA.

I have decided that we will be having theme months for the next few months so that you have some idea of what is coming up.  So for the month of February during my Monday night shows we will be "Using Our Stashe" at 6 PM PST at Gerriann's Scrapbooking Show. 

I would love to list specific projects but that leaves little room for "Oh My...I've got to do that" projects.  I will still be focusing on small projects that can be done easily in one sitting (i know Martha-don't laugh).

The focus will be to use up those paper collections and embellishments that you love and pet each time you come across them.  I have a few of my favorites as well.

We will be making Valentines and my "Famous" Box for those keepsake valentines for kids both big and little alike.  It would also make a cute gift of a variety of cards for all occasions.

We will be working on an 12X12 Altered Canvas similar to the one I created while at CHA with some new Fiber-Castell Design Memory Craft products.

And finally we will be creating some cute and fun Cub Scout Layouts doing some old fashioned paper piecing.

So start thinking about what you would love to use for these projects.  Try to keep it mostly from your stashe.  I will be giving away some prizes for those who are working along and make a dent in your stash.

Toni and I will be offering another "Try-It" special in March.  The Tombo "Gerriann's Favorites" Try-It Adhesive kits will only be available until 2/3/14 with payment.  Everyone should have their orders no later than Feb 10th as long as the glue pen comes off of back order.  We are super excited to share these specials with you!

Part 2

1/12/14. CHA fun

Hi everyone, I have been at CHA since 1/9/14 and I have learned a ton of new techniques and tips that I will be sharing on my ustream Show in the upcoming weeks.  I have been able to participate in many Make and Takes.  I love the new Bo Bunny lines and also the papers from Bella Blvd.

I have really enjoyed meeting and getting to know Ustream Friends in person for the first time or again.  I have met And hung out mostly with Zandra.  We have done a ton of walking, talking, and giggling.  I finally have faces to go with Carol and Barrie from Scrapadabadoo.com.  I have met the famous Kathy Orta, Jim the Gentleman Crafter, and Ceasur, Darcy and Johnna, and many more.

Tonight I had the opportunity to go to dinner with Laura from Following the Paper Trail.  It was nice to just sit and visit and chat about how to manage a scrapbooking business and family life.  We chatted about the benefits of design teams, and also about following your passion.  I see many techniques and so basics of paper crafting in my upcoming shows.

That is the benefit of coming to a trade show and conference.  It has been good so far and I am looking forward to my next adventure in scrapbooking land.  I love the crew working the Tombo booth they have been so good to me and I love the door prize I won while taking the Bling It With Tombo class.

There is no Ustream show tomorrow as I am still here At CHA.  Will try to get some video of some of my favorite things and try to get the video uploaded too.
