01/31/2012 BettyBee's Birthday Gifts Giveaway Entry!

I decided to play along with BettyBee.  I have learned a great deal on her Ustream Cricut Classes on using my Cricut Expression.  Since her birthday was this month too she is hosting a give-a-way and the rules are as follows:

Create a card or other project for someone else, photograph it, blog about it, then link it here.  Not only will you be doing something that makes someone else feel good, and you will feel great :) , but you will be entered into the drawing for Blog Candy for each entry!  


She is giving away a Cricut Birthday Cakes Cartridge (yep-it works in the Expressions) and Birthday Themed Cuttlebug folders.  I am excited!

01/25/2012 My Birthday Book!

Today is my 41st Birthday!  Wow, When did I get to be in my 40's?  I have been working with the scrapbooking materials that I won from Scrapadapadoo and playing.  Planning on a few special cards today then I am done and am going to move on!  I have a project that I am excited to work on at the Scrapbook Boot Camp this weekend at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in CDA.  Just need tons of Adhesive.

Here is the completed project inspired by  Mary Gunn Funn a fellow CTMh Consultant.  Check out her cool ongoing project for 2012.  Love the colors of the Dreamin Kit.

01/24 Prize from Scrapadapadoo.com

During the New Years Bash sponsered by Following the Paper Trail, The ScrapBeach, and Scrapadabdoo.com I won two prizes.  A class kit from Laura Denison at Following the Paper Trail.  A Hall Pass Kit-to be completed later! and also a Create Your Own Journal Kit from Scrapadabadoo.  I worked with that kit today!  It included a 4.5X6.5 journal with Kraft Color Chipboard Covers, 8 Sheets of 12X12 Kaisercraft-Dancing Jewel Collection, 15 brads from the collections, and Hideaway Rub-ons.  Here is the first project that I created.  I used the 10 things CTMH stamp Set, Glitter Paint, Petaloo Flower, Prima Flourish Bling, and K & Company Glittered Butterfly.  Enjoy!

The Prototype Box
